Our Vision
A closer look at the ideas shaping Stream Havoc
We're taking things one step at a time, but have many aspirations for the future of Stream Havoc. We want to share where we're at, and where we think we might be heading.
Creators will be able to configure interactive Havoc Gadget redeems through the dashboard, and viewers will be able to trigger them through the Twitch extension panel. The goal of this model is to create a simple and accessible experience for streamers, while helping keep the cost of entry lower and giving Stream Havoc a more sustainable long-term platform model.
Following the release of the core Havoc Gadget range built around the extension model, one direction we are considering is further R&D into a range of open source devices for creators who enjoy building, modifying, or experimenting with their own effects and interactive tools.
One of our longer-term ideas is to explore ways Stream Havoc could support not only our own gadget range, but also a broader ecosystem of creator-built or community-driven hardware. That could open the door to more custom stream setups, more specialized effects, and more flexibility for technically minded creators who want to push interactivity further in their own way.
